The QWL is a process established by the Postal Service and the National Mail Handler Union to help improve the Quality of Working Life for ALL EMPLOYEES.  This is accomplished through a structured process of employee involvement in problem-solving and decision-making on issues relating to how work is accomplished and how our working environment can be improved.  This is done by discussing the operation of a particular work area as well as working conditions in general.
