Our Mission statement –  The mission of QWL in Sacramento is to improve, strengthen the relationship and commitment among Mail handlers and Management. To develop, implement processes and strategies to improve mail flow, service to our customers and support QWL to our plant.

Our ground rules and  definitions:

• Group problem solving and decision making

QWL process is not!

• Substitute for the grievance procedure
• For individuals , but a benefit for all employees and customers.
• A replacement for collective bargaining
• A gimmick for more productivity or cure all
• A forum to discuss personalities and performance
• A union busting tactic.
